Asin and Shahrukh to star in movie based on ‘2 States’

Bollywood beauty Asin Thottumkal is all set to star opposite the man every lady in the industry would die to work with. The ‘Ghajini’ actress is now on the verge to be cast opposite Shahrukh Khan in an upcoming movie.

In some good news for all the Chetan Bhagat followers, the pair is likely to be finalized for Bhagat’s latest book ‘2 States’. The movie will be directed by Vishal Bhardwaj and will be produced by Sajid Nadiadwala.

The makers of the movie wanted Asin for the role as she would be the best one to suit. The actress is super excited to work with Shahrukh for the first time. The ‘London Dreams’ actress is also currently working for Housefull 2.

2 states is a story about Ananya and Krish, who are from Tamil Nadu and Punjab respectively. The two had fallen in love, while they were in college and the challenge in front of them is to convince their parents for the marriage. Asin may be finalized for the south Indian girl role in the movie opposite Shahrukh.
