Akshay Kumar injured during ‘Rowdy Rathore’ shoot

Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar recently got injured while shooting for the movie ‘Rowdy Rathore’. The actor injured his shoulder while shooting for the movie directed by Prabhu Deva.

Akshay was shooting at a construction site in Mulund area in Mumbai, where they were filming for a pre-climax scene. The actor was injured but still continued the shooting and finished the scene.

But the actor realized the intensity of the injury later and the shooting of the movie which was supposed to resume post New Year celebrations on January 3, is postponed till January 11, 2012.

The climax of the movie demands heavy duty action scenes and the actor has decided to take a break so that he allows his shoulder to rest. Earlier too, the actor has been involved in many of the action sequences and has injured himself many times. Akshay has always been a dare devil and prefers to do his own stunts without the help of a body double.
