IIT JEE 2011 results to be announced on 25th May

Students who had appeared for the IIT-Jee examinations for the year 2011, will soon be able to access their results. The results are scheduled to be declared on 25th May 2011.

The examinations were held for the admissions into the prestigious Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT). More than four lakh students have appeared for the examinations that were held at 1051 centres throughout the country.

After reports of some errors in the question paper of the examination held in IIT Kanpur, it was announced that this year the appeared students would get full marks in two of the questions in the Mathematics subject, in which the errors were found.

The IIT Kanpur has also announced that they will be withholding the results of 30 of the students, who had appeared and were caught cheating during the examination. The Indian Institute of Technology is a group of autonomous engineering and technology institutes, that offer higher education facilities to the students.
