Toyota Domestic Share Tops 50%

Submitted by Bill Belew on Thursday, 1 November 2007No Comment

Toyota will likely take a market share of over 50% for new car sales in Japan for October.

Toyota's sales have climbed 6% this year to 138,000 vehicles.

In November of last year, Toyota logged 49.4% of new car sales.

Since May of this year, Toyota has released a new model every month…the Mark X ZiO in September, the Corolla Rumion in October…

The newly remodeled Land Cruiser came out in September.

In August of this year, Toyota had its first year on year increase in over a year…Japan's domestic car sales have been declining…until last month.

Last month the overall domestic car sales likely expanded on an annual basis for the first time in more than two years…28 months to be exact.

If Japanese, bent on quality as they are, like Toyotas…hmmm…what kind of car should I buy?

Oh…I already have a Toyota and two Hondas…

What do you drive?
