The World's Largest Casino – Venetian Macao Resort – with a price tag of $2.4 billion opened yesterday on reclaimed land.

The resort has 3,000 hotel rooms, a theater, a 15,000-seat stadium and 350 shops…oh, and gambling arenas – 870 gaming tables and 3,400 slot machines…with another 2,600 coming…enough to fill up 3 soccer pitches.

The idea is to create the Las Vegas Strip in southern China….to accelerate Macao's transformation from a gambling haven to Asia's top entertainment draw.

The resort has Venetian canals!

In the end, te Cotai Strip hopes to have a dozen top-end resorts and more then 20,000 hotel rooms.

The shopping mall is connected by three canals, complete with gondolas and a fake sky.

And, who will be footing the $2.4 billion bill?

There's a reason it is said, 'the house always wins'.

But, they won't get any of my money.

Are you a gambler?
