South Africa Attractive to the Chinese

Posted by Bill Belew on June 4th, 2007 in Doing Business in China | No Comments

South Africa is expecting to attract 60,000 Chinese tourists this year up 33% from 45,000 last year.

Last year…the southern part of the dark continent received 8.4 million international tourists, up 13.9% and far ahead of the 4.5% global growth.

I have never been to Africa, but it is high on my list of places I want to go.south.africa.gif

The Chinese, with more money in their pockets, and the largest number of potential travelers, if attracted can make a difference in any countries tourism industry.

Have you ever been to Africa? Do you want to go?

What country would you like to visit?

I live in SA and can say that you are missing out if you dont visit Africa (I live in SA so am ever so slightly biased towards it). The other places in Africa I have been have been mind blowing…so much more so than the developed natiuons.
