‘Pirates of the Caribbean 3′ Cut by 20 minutes

Submitted by Bill Belew on Wednesday, 23 May 2007No Comment

When Pirates of the Caribbean III premieres in China, about one month after its global premiere on June 12th, it will be 20 minutes shorter than the Hollywood version.

That's better than Pirates II which didn't get shown at all….legally. Pirates II was rejected because the plot involved ghosts.

Pirates III has/had the addition of Chinese pirate, Captain Sao Feng – played by Hong Kong star Chow Yun-fat, who helps save Jack Sparrow from the world of the dead. Couldn't keep the Chinese pirate in even he was a good guy. Golly!

But…Jack will need another means of rescue in the Chinese version….jack.sparrow.jpg

The Chinese aren't worried…Pirates took in only $3.5 million in China of the near $800 million worldwide.

Johnny Depp says…he's game for a Pirates IV.

And if the Chinese want to see the whole movie…ppsssstt…there's a guy on the corner.

(I agree with the commenter…the joke is getting old.)

why is there always a “pssstt there’s a guy in the corner” bit in a lot of the articles.
It’s really starting to annoy me and the joke is getting pretty old if who ver writes this uses it over and over again.
