No Threat of Foreign Monopoly in China in Any Industry

The China Foreign Investment Report 2007 released by the Ministry of Commerce says the country does not face any imminent risk of a monopoly by a foreign company in any industry…including Microsoft?

China has approved the establishment of more than 610,000 foreign-funded companies as of July and actual investments total about $720 billion.

The central and western regions of China are doing a better job (27%) in absorbing overseas investment as well.

Of the world's 500 top businesses, 480 have set up shop in China.

And, I am wondering, who are the other 20 that have not?
