Help Wanted – 6,500 Pilots Needed

Submitted by Bill Belew on Wednesday, 15 August 2007No Comment

China plans to have around 1,250 civil aviation transport planes by 2010.

Problem is, there is nobody to pilot the flying buses.

China wants/needs 6,500 pilots within the next three years.

The alternative is everybody doesn't get a ride OR, worse

yet, unqualified people find themselves behind the controls.

In years to come, China will be able to fill the gap for pilot demand by promoting pilot training funded at personal expense.

When the pilot finds a position, and they will, then they get their money back.

Hmm…I always wanted to be a pilot.

How about you?
