Food Poisoning Gets “D” Grade
If a restaurant in Shanghai causes a customer to get food poisoning the eatery gets a "D" grade and inspections eight times a year instead of a "C" and 6 inspections, a "B" and four or an "A" and just two.
Uh, why not an "F" I wonder?
A greasy diner that gets a "C" two years in a row, will be degraded to a "D."
Shanghai's Food and Drug Administration is grading more than 10,000 restaurants according to their sanitation…but for now, only the middle-sized and big restaurants.
The little joints will be graded in the distant future. Whew! What chance would they have of passing now?![]()
In Hangzhou China's Ministry of Health labels clean restaurants with a smiley face and dirty joints with
a bitter face.
I wonder…do they serve bitter melon at the smiley face places?
Would you ever eat at a restaurant that has been known to give a customer food poisoning?
