Dell Ties Up with Gome to Sell PCs

Dell Inc plans to sell its latest range of personal computers through China's largest electronics retailer – Gome Group.

It appears that Dell, the world's second-largest personal computer maker is expanding beyond its direct-sales model to help increase its global market share.

With the Chinese shoppers loving to handle products and then buy the one in the box on the shelf….it can be a good move for Dell.

Beijing-based Gome will start retailing Dell products next month in 50 of its stores.

The group has 654 outlets nationwide.

China is the world's second-largest PC market for shipments.

Second-largest + second largest = largest?

Is Dell changing?
