China creates 10 million city jobs
China created 10 million city jobs in the first ten months of this year….far ahead of the 9 million goal for the year.
Unemployment in the city is 4%, down from 4.1% last year.
Now, 95.7% of the country's former "zero employment" families have at least one person working.
China's cities must create 10 million jobs annually to meet the demand of farmers moving in and new college graduates.
Those born after 1980 account for more than 100 million "young migrant workers" who have migrated to Chinese cities.
It's got to be tough to find jobs for that many people year after year….I mean, how big can a city get.
Last year, 11.84 million urban Chinese found jobs.
This year, it will be more…or not.
Do you have trouble finding a job in China?
