China Cosco Shares Double
I never learned to play the stock market. I think the key word is 'play.'
I can't mentally make the connection of playing with money. It might also have a lot to do with why I am trying to make a lving blogging instead of sitting fat and happy somewhere.
When Chinese companies go public…they do it in a big way.
"Shares of China Cosco Holdings Co, Asia's largest container line, nearly doubled in their Shanghai trading debut."
Imagine investing $100K in the morning and it being worth $200K in the evening.
Somebody is surely happy about this turn of events.![]()
Container shipping is China Cosco's core business, making up 90% of its revenue.
The annual capacity growth rate for global container
ships is forecast at 12%…and at least 7%.
Does that mean Cosco will make from 7-12% each year for the next three years?
If I knew the answer to that, I would invest in the company.
Do you play the stock market?
