Business Relations (Guanxi) For Sale Online

Guanxi – a business connection, a go-between, that person who provides an invaluable link between two sides in a contract or deal.

Somebody needs to introduce the two sides, somebody both sides trust. That somebody is the guanxi.

One wonders why the two sides just don't build a trust between themselves and seal the deal. It doesn't work that way in China…guanxi is needed.

Question: Can you buy trust on the Internet?

If access to a government official can be 'bought', then I think the answer is pretty obvious.
