$50 million Jewelry Show

Somebody or somebodies in China has money.

There is a four-day 400 million yuan jewelry exhibition going on in Shanghai.

400 jewelers from 22 countries are showing off their precious items at the 2007 Shanghai International Jewelry Exhibition.

One jade necklace is going for about $1.5 million!

These prices are ridiculously high anyway and at one time would have been considered astronomical for the Chinese.

It must be a sign of the times…now the Chinese super rich are shopping for such items.
