3 Ways to Make the Rich Richer
China's 'empress of paper' has a plan so that she and others like her can get richer.
At one time she was ranked as China's richest woman. She wants her spot back.
What good is it being rich if you are not the richest, dang it?
Zhan Yin is the founder and board chairwoman of one of the world's biggest paper makers, Nine Dragons Paper Industries. She was worth Y27 billion($4 billion) in 2006.
Her three step plan.
1. exempt labor-intensive companies from signing permanent contracts with staff having more than 10 years' service.
2. personal income tax rate on those earning more than 100,000 yuan (about 14,000 U.S. dollars) a month to be cut from 45 percent to 30 percent.
3. the government lift the duty levied on imported environmental remediation facilities for five to seven years.
Her company is a labor-intensive, polluting busines that needs to import. That extra 15% on the money she makes each year adds up, too. Poor baby.
Communism – what's mine is mine. What's yours is mine.
Pony up!

Chinese politicians are so unlike the western variety. They are so selfless, dedicated, and benevolent.
