19 Firms Get Direct Sales Permits for China

China's Ministry of Commerce says that 19 companies have received direct selling licenses in China since 2005.

Fourteen of them are foreign companies such as:

1. Avon China

2. Nu Skin China

3. Ningbo Sansheng

4. Oriflame Cosmetics China

5. Amway China

Domestic companies:direct.sales.jpg

1. Nanjing Joymain

2. Beijing Rolmex Pharmacy

3. Guangdong Kangli Medicines

China has mapped out regulations on direct selling to prevent pyramid selling as part of its commitment to the WTO.

Direct selling is limited to:

1. cosmetics

2. health food

3. sanitary products

4. body-building equipment

5. kitchen utensils
