Is China a Dependable Ally in the War on Terror?

This question was interesting to me –

Do you (General public and Opinion Leaders) think China is a dependable ally in the War on Terror?

The answer was a resounding NO!

Nearly 2 out of 3 opinion leaders think China won’t step up to help out (62%) in the war on terror, whereas 56% of the general public think of China as absent in a pinch.

Those who thought China might help out, less than 1/3.

For good or for bad, China is not on our side in this War on Terror….they are not on anybody’s side for that matter.

Or are they?

What do you think?

China never allies with the US to wage war against terrorism.

Terrorism is a political clash between US and the third world and the current foreign policy of China is to establish amicable diplomatic relations with the third world in order to depress political influence of US in the global arena.

This is an excellent point, Hubert.

If China has friendly relations with the terrorist regimes…it does give them (China) some leverage when negotiating anything with the US.
