How Yi Jianlian is Helping Rebuild the New Jersey Net
Yi Jianlian hopes his new team, the New Jersey Nets, will rebuild real fast.
It’s a new start for the NBA star.
Yi Jianlian is 7-ft tall, plays the power forward position and looks up to Yao Ming in more ways than one. Yao is 7′6″.
Yi and Yao played the Chinese Olympic team into the quarter-finals, the best ever performance for a Chinese team.
Yi is young and plays very very hard as a skilled and mobile player in the power forward position.
Yi can run the floor as well as hold his position.
What Yi needs to learn most from Yao is the the hard work ethic that his senior NBA star already knows.
If you watch Yi’s Nets play Yao’s Rockets during the NBA season on December 22 in New Jersey or February 17 at Houston, you will be in front of the tube with about 1 billion other people.
