China, India and Russia are Driving Global Business Growth

Submitted by Bill Belew on Saturday, 29 April 2006No Comment

There are four countries that are driving the global growth of stock markets. Three of them are in Asia – China, Russia and India. The fourth is Brazil (it’s not in Asia. But, then you knew that, right?)

According to the IMG these four countries account for 30% of growth. That’s a lot out of four countries.

Even Warren Buffett is beginning to invest OUTSIDE of the US.

Later this year, Industrial & Commerical Bank of China will go public and is expected to fetch a whole lot of capital. Goldman Sachs has already coughed up $2.58 Billion.

So, how can a dummy like me get in on this action?

In June, there is a Summit on investing in China and India. I will be there to cover it and to learn.

But then, I reckon so might a bunch of other US institutions. I read recently that US non-financial companies now hold a record $1.5 Trillion…that’s a T, mind you, in cash. If they start investing, I’m cooked. My holdings don’t start with a B or an M…more like a H..

How about you? Are you planning on getting in on the action in Asia?

Why or why not?
