China Doesn’t Play Fair – So, Raise the Prices.
China doesn’t play fair or do business fair or trade fair or… So, what’s new?
China’s trade deficit last year was a whopping $202 billion. Meaning we bought a whole lot more of everything from them than they bought from us.
That trade deficit was the highest ever recorded by a single country.
Is there something wrong with that picture?
Well, it seems some people think the Chinese RMB is undervalued and they want it raised.
Okay, that means we will pay MORE for the multitude of Chinese products that we purchase instead of less, right? And US made products – 727s and large construction equipment and such will be cheaper for the Chinese to still NOT buy.
And what will that do to the trade deficit?
