Blogs Evade China’s Censors
China’s net-savvy users apparently are quite capable at evading China’s 30,000 plus web cops according to a recent report I read.
When China censored out "Brokeback Mountain" the cinema diehards in China hardly noticed.
Film download sites, file sharing and BLOGS all provide for alternative channels for sharing and viewing.
And if that work, well right outside the US embassy in Beijing among other places some dude will surely hustle you aside and offer to sell you a pirated copy for a $1.
I bought one once…not a "Brokeneck Hill" one but the U-571 sub flick. I was pretty excited when I thought I would have something to watch on the airplane during the 15 hour plane ride home, but, alas…it was a dud. A dud from a dude. And believe it or not the pilot would NOT turn around so I could get a refund.
Where there’s a will there’s a way…and the Chinese are experts at finding a way.
What do you think?

Have you tried creating a blog hosted by a Chinese web site?
