Blackberry Heads To China

Blackberry is heading to China.

Blackberry will team up with China Mobile Communications to launch its service throughout China.

The first step for Blackberry will be to focus on people who bring their devices overseas and then start selling a Chinese version at some later date.

The second largest phone carrier in China, China Unicom already has a service similar to the one Blackberry offers. It’s called, and I couldn’t believe this when I read it…. Redberry . 5,000 years of history and somebody couldn’t come up with a better name than that? The best they could do was steal an idea from someone else and just change the color?

Isn’t anybody in China embarrassed by this?
