Toyota Plans 7th Corolla Factory in China

America’s Big Three car companies are in the tank. Toyota Motor Corp. is planning its 7th factory in China - Changchun, Jilin Province. The facility will manufacture 100,000 cars a year.

The joint venture is Sichuan FAW Toyota Motor Co. The plant will cost Toyota Y4B.

Good news for Chinese wanting to visit the United States.
Last year, the U.S. embassy in China issued 400,000+ visas. That number was up 17% from the year before. Some 80% of people who applied were approved.

Hainan Province in China is banking on clean energy. Can you say "wind power?"
