Auto Expo 2012, 2014 Expo venue to be shifted to avoid chaos

After reports of mismanagement in the Auto Expo 2012 held in Delhi, the organizers have assured the exhibitors a better experience. The organizers assured that the exhibitors as well as the visitors will have a better experience.

The next Auto Expo which will be held in the year 2014 will be shifted in the month of February and the first day of the Expo will be reserved exclusively for the media. On the second day special invitees will be accommodated.

This year it was observed that there was unanticipated rush on the second day at Pragati Maidan with traffic jams all over throughout the day. After looked at the chaos at the Expo, it has been decided that the general visitors at the next expo will be allowed only on the fourth day.

The problems during the show had led the participants complain to the organizers and had also threatened to pull out of the future shows. Sugato Sen the director of the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers, which organizes the show said that there has been much deliberation to avoid the confusion and added that the event has to be organized in a month do that it does not clash with any other international show.
