There ARE Dragons and They Maul Little Boys

A rare Komodo Dragon on an island in a national park in Indonesia attacked a young boy, bit him, and tossed him about until he was dead.

Villagers threw rocks at the dragon to get him to realease the youngster, but it was too late.

There was no medical clinic on the island to attend to the boy.

The Komodo dragon can grow up to 10 feet long and weigh about 300lbs.

There are about 3,000 of them in the Komodo national park and despite being vicious and aggressive, they don't usually attack humans.

But, who would want to get close enough to one of them to find out?
