Steve Irwin Wannabe – The Nastiest Picture I Have Seen in a Long Time

I might be a little late getting this news…but then, if I am, perhaps others haven't seen it as well.

This is definitely the nastiest picture I have seen in a long long time.

A zooworker veterniarian had his armed chomped off by a 440-pound Nile crocodile in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. I think I might have met this critter when I was in the southern port city after a sailing trip.

The croc was supposed to be fully anesthetized when the man stuck his arm through some iron bars to retrieve a tranquilizer dart.

Bad surprize!

The 17-year old former pet crocodile apparently was surprized, too when it was shot but unharmed by two bullets and let go of the left limb.

The arm has been reattached.

I bet the Crocodile Hunter would have like to make a comment about this…we miss Steve Irwin.
