Silk Road is New Tourism Hotspot
You'd better go now before the tourist agencies take over.
UNESCO is estimating that about one third of the world's tourists would like to visit the Silk Road.
Count me in…for now. Once the helicopter rides and Hummer excursions take over, I think I'll pass.
A plan is underway to develop tourism along the 2,100 year old east-west trading route.
3,000 kilometers of the 10,000 kilometer route is in China.
China's territories, Henan, Shaanxi, Gansu and Qinghai provinces, Ningxia Hui and Xinjiang Uygur autonomous regions are more than happy to be there for tourists from everwhere.
If you'd like to offer an opinion… www.silkroad.easyyou.com is waiting.
How about, "leave things alone?" Well, at least until I get there.
Would you like to visit the Silk Road?
