Siamese Twin Fish Conjoined at the Stomach (Pix)
There are that are conjoined at the stomach in Bangkok.
The two fish were born 8 months ago. One is bigger than the other, and no doubt tells the little one where they are and aren’t going.
The big one also protects the smaller one while the smaller one does the scouting for food on the bottom.
“Where’s the bait?”
“Over there!”
“Over there?”
“No, over there?”
“You mean up there?”
“No down there.”
Good thing that fish don’t have much of a brain or a memory to speak of. I get confused just trying to think what they think.
Anyway, yet another reason to NOT drink the water in Bangkok, eh?

The Noosa River Australian Bass in Queensland Australia, produced thousands of deformed embryos and fry this breeding season. Many were Siamese twins in all different forms. The only common demominator was all 2 heads and bodies joined into one tail. I photograped and videoed the embryos and the fry. 2 hearts were clearly seen, one beating in each tiny body. The Noosa River catchment has large macadamia farms who use very dangerous chemicals, one at least, Howzat SC – carbendazim- causes birth defects in animals and pregnant women and ladies of child bearing ages are warned on the label to stay clear of Carbendazim. Can the Carbendazim pass through the macadamia nut to the people eating Australian macadamia nuts??
