New IBM IT Solution Centers in India and China

IBM plans to launch two new IT solution centers, one in China and one in India.

Each site will emply about 500 developers with the aim of creating service oriented architecture for global consumers.

IBM estimates that SOA based services will reach $160 billion by 2008.

IBM employs 7,000 in China but 40,000 in India.

The centers will be located in Pune, India and Beijing, China.

Good news for the geeks in these two locations, eh?
