Yuvraj Singh almost cured of cancer, Tweets reveal

Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh, who is currently going through chemotherapy in the US for treatment of cancer, recently shared a good news. Singh through the social networking site said that the tumour is almost out of the system after the first cycle of the treatment.

Yuvi Tweeted, “Got very good news from dr lawrence today! The tumor is almost way out of the system After reading my todays scan !Second cycle has started,”. The cricketer is at present being treated at the Boston Institute of Cancer Research.

The 30 year old cricketer went to the US last month to get treated and has gone bald due to the side effects of the medicines. The treatment will continue till the last week of March before the rehabilitation begins in the month of April.

Yuvi also got some words of encouragement from the US cycling legend Lance Armstrong, who has a good experience of winning over cancer. The message read, “Yuvi, I want you to know that the entire LIVESTRONG team is here for you.”.The cricketer was touched with the gesture and thanked him for the motivation.
