As the month of May reaches in its peak, so have the temperatures in India. The capital city Delhi on Monday recorded the maximum temperature. A soaring temperature of 44.1 degrees was recorded, which was five degrees above the normal temperature.
The weather experts have said that this might be just the beginning of the heat wave in the city. Even in Rajasthan, the temperatures are rising and are already under heat wave conditions since last week.
The temperature in Chiru in the state of Rajasthan had recorded a temperature of 46.7 degrees. The weather experts had said that last year too the day of 17th May had recorded the maximum temperature, which was above 44 degrees.
For the past four years, the maximum temperature of the day has remained constant above 40 degrees. According to the Safdarjung Met Department, the temperature is likely to come down by the end of this week. The experts had even added that the upper air cyclonic circulation, which is developing over Rajasthan will bring down the temperatures.
