Shane Watson again gets out in the 90′s !
This is the fourth successive game in which Watson has scored a 90 or got close to it. His summer had begun with a duck against West Indies, but has had a 96, 89, 93 and now a 97 in it – apart from a few other scores.
Katich has another string of three 90s and an 80 in four Tests. He started with a 92 in the first game of the summer against West Indies, and has followed it up with 80, 99 (ouch!) and a 98 (consecutive ouches!)
The missing out of centuries will hurt Watto. And Katich. But the other way to look at it is, that they would probably take those scores of 80s and 90s any day, at such a consistent rate than get dismissed for less than 50!
So, what do you guys think; is getting 90s on a consistent basis a sign of run-amassing and consistency, or a sign of nerves?
