Mangalore University (MU) is a public university located in Konaje near Mangalore, Karnataka State of India

Mangalore University has invited applications from eligible athletes, sportspersons and women for sports scholarship under the Talent Identification and Sports Promotion Scheme.

Students studying in first and second year degree colleges affiliated to the university and have represented and excelled in sports and games at the state, national and international levels and are less than 20 years of age as on July 7, 2009 can apply.
