K Rosaiah Appointed acting Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh

State Finance Minister K Rosaiah a senior most leader has been appointed as interim Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh till the new leader of Congress legislature party is elected.

Union Home Minister P Chidmabaram has said state Finance Minister K Rosaiah will be the acting Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh after sad demise of YSR Reddy in a helicopter crash.

Finance minister K Rosaiah’s name has now been cleared by the Congress high command as the interim chief minister.

Meanwhile, the Congress Party has called a cabinet meeting today at 4.00 pm to mourn the death of its leader YS Reddy and discuss the future course of action.
