1.increase in the tax slab for women is may be become a indirect cause for inflation. as we all know today most of womens are spend more for cosmetics and other materials but not that much in savings or investment.

prices on petroleum products can be reduced and also the indirect hike on other commodities are to be avoided. This is to be considered by looking at the poor plight of the people in the below poverty line and also the marginalised communities.

This budget is very good in terms of overall growth and development of the Nation. some aspects related to village development and also on the poor people life is not foucssed much. education and empowerment of the villagers are to be focussed and also on the aspects of rural livelihoods and how the country growth and development can be seen in the poor men’s houses could be focused also.

I think in budget, i have not seen any step to elminate the poverty, like: salaried persons who having a salary below 3 Lac, no tax relief has been provided. Further to this government is ready to invest lot of money for green revulation also decreased the interest rate for farmers that is a good thing, but would like to know what about those people who are unable to take the loan as thay have a very less amount of agriculture land and because of limmited water and electricity resources in rural area they do not have a enough crops in hand for payment of loan, so government should think about those people also who are below powerty line. This needs a vide vision and immidiate attention. Further to this i expect that this budget would be helpful to control the fiscal deficit.

While lowering of tax rates will widen the base and increase revenue, inflation is a major concern. There is little to help the marginalised sections and create rural employment. Reduction of subsidies should be matched with scrapping of freebies to officials and polticians.

Finance minister Pranab Mukherjee has commended the Union budget 2010-11 at the floor of Lok Sabha and his endeavor to develop the base for developed India is acutely enlightened. Financing various development schemes along with agriculture sector in the most elegant manner marked the advent of a new spark in Indian finance. Above all the modification in Income Tax stucture makes it a popularist budget which caters to every sector of Indian economy
