Hyderabad and Delhi among the top international airports in the world

Two International airports from India have won the top honours from the Airport Council International (ACI).

Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) in Hyderabad has won the world’s best airport (in the 5 to 15 million passengers category), The Hyderabad airport has also been ranked as the fifth best airport worldwide. See the Best airports in the World

and Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGIA) has been ranked as the the 4th best airport award in the world (in the 15-25 million category) and it has also been awarded as the ‘Best Improved Airport’ in the Asia Pacific Region.

The awards were presented in China by the Airport Council International,.

The Airports Council International (ACI) is a independent body which gives ratings to the airports on 34 parameters like services in customs, immigration, passenger satisfaction security, ground handling, ambience of the airport, cleanliness of the terminals etc.

    Very good news for Indians that RGIA Airport in Hyderabad and IGIA Airport in Delhi are best Air[ports in the world. IGIA Airport in Delhi is awarded as best improved airport’ in the Asia Pacific Region.
