Hollywood’s latest Blockbuster Avatar has broken the all time records at the Box office.

In Hollywood’s biggest-ever box-office weekend, “Avatar” held the top spot while earning only slightly less during its second week of release.

With “Avatar” holding up its $278 million revenue, industry tracker Exhibitor Relations reported that it is the highest point in the film industry’s history. That beats the legendary 1997 Oscar-winner “Titanic” by raking in $75 million from Friday to Sunday, according to preliminary estimates by Exhibitor Relations.

Following the winner was “Sherlock Holmes” by Guy Ritchie with $65.4 million, “Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel” with 50.2 million dollars, and the last is Nancy Meyer’s “It’s Complicated” with $22.1 million.

So want more lists? Here they are:

1. “Avatar,” $75 million.

2. “Sherlock Holmes,” $65.4 million.

3. “Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel,” $50.2 million.
