For the first time ever in the history of ‘Law Fraternity’ it happened that as many as 29,395 cases have settled within a span of just one year. The High Court of Allahabad has encrypted itself in the history by doing so.

The whole and sole credit for this goes to Justice Ravindra Singh of Allahabad High Court. Singh has been honoured by the Bar Association of Allahabad for his huge achievement.

The Justice with all humility called his achievement as a part of routine duty. He said, “I can’t say anything about the records because it is routine, a working process. There are no achievements. This is a working process and every judge should follow this and I have also tried to do so and not waste the time of the court I did all the hearings,”

The closing of the pending 29, 395 started from the month of July 2009 to July 2010.
