Filipinos speak English, have strong communication skills and a high-quality workforce.

The country has about 100 call centers in place and 650,000 students in the pipes.

Now there is one more call center…Dell Computer's second. Dell plans to hire 1,200 workers to go along with the 1,400 it has working at another facility opened up in February, 06.dell.jpg

Dell operates in  25 locations throughout the world and needs a global network of customer support.

"The Philippines is becoming the contact center location of choice in Southeast Asia," says Dell.

I always enjoyed my visits to the Philippines, once I got out of Olongapo.

If China could speak English, they country'd take over the world. Don't you think?

Do they really need to have that many English speakers?

China has taken over in a lot of industries; some better than others.
