“Stop or I Will Kill You” – New Police Slogan

Nobody has ever accused the Chinese police force of being the warm and fuzzy type.

In the cities of Zhengzhou and Xingyang in central Henan cops are displaying a banner for robbers that says –

"Motorcycle robbers will be shot to death at the scene of a crime"

Debate has ensued on whether a police officer has the right to execute criminals at the scene of a crime.motorcycle.robbers.jpg

Uh…no. But, then this is China.

If a policeman witnesses a motorcyclist robbing a pedestrian, s/he can shoot the dude…right then, right now.

Some think…what took the cops so long to come up with the policy.

Others think…why not shoot them in the arm or leg?

I reckon the best course of action is for the would be robbers to think again.

Maybe that's the real intent of this campaign.

Do you think that policemen should have the right to shoot to kill if they witness a robbery?
