Jet Li vs Jackie Chan
Jet Li and Jackie Chan are planning a martial arts action movie where the two will face off for the first time.
Jet Li said his latest film, "Hero" would be his last martial arts film. Jackie Chan says he’s too old to fall out of a fourth story window and land on his feet, then back, then face.
The industry jounrnal Variety reported that Jet Li could be lured out of retirement to star opposite Jackie Chan, the Hong Kong legend.
Yep…most anybody could be lured out of retirement for the right amount of money. Even Mike Tyson will allow himself to get beat up…wait, he needs the money.![]()
The $70 million movie will be about the legendary monkey king and his quest for immortality. Jet Li will play two roles – the monkey king and the silent monk. Chan will play the monk, T’sa-Ho.
Shooting will start next April. When the two do finally face off, one won’t have a chance.
Who’s your money on? The young or the wise?

I am certainly no expert on the topic but I am going with Jackie Chan due to comedic abilities as well. That’s a dual threat right there.

jackie chan would win any day yes he was traind when he was a kid in the art of theatrical martial arts but over the the years he learned many different types of martial arts like wushu,ti jutsu, drunkin boxing and so on any body says otherwise has not seen all hes moves and watched him grow and every thing he dose is him doing it unlike jetli only traind in wushu and uses stunt doubles and wires for some of his acts not jackie he would break every bone in his body before letting any body else do it for him thats the truth i have met him on 3 occasions in china im not chines or anything but my brother is filthy rich and takes me with him were ever business takes him hes a stunt performer and controles explosion’s another words piro tech i,ve met a lot of famous people save your self the time and dont talk to pam anderson shes a b rude and stuck up met her on the set of barb wire

@Chris: Yeah, you’re right. “Fearless” was definitely the movie. Judging from Bill’s apparent passion for Chinese cinema (the man coined the phrase Chollywood!), I’m sure it was a minor oversight.
He’s not so much the baddie, as just “mischievous”. I can’t wait for this movie – I LOVE the whole Sun Wukong legend. And as he does nothing but get everyone in a whole lot of trouble – my money is on Jackie knockin’ the tiara off him.

Not to nitpick, but I’m pretty sure Fearless was Jet Li’s self-proclaimed “final martial arts epic,” not Hero.
That aside, my money’s on Jackie Chan. It’s not a question of prowess–I’d be hard pressed to pick a winner in a real fight–but in a movie Jet Li makes a better villian, and therefore a better fall guy. Chan is just to likeable to go down. We’re only betting RMB, right? Not real money?
