Google may quit China due to Censorship
The search engine espionage Google reconsidering its business operations in China and its felt no longer filter internet search engine results in that country.
Chief legal officer Google wrote in his blog as “these attacks and the surveillance they have uncovered—combined with the attempts over the past year to further limit free speech on the web—have led us to conclude that we should review the feasibility of our business operations in China”.
Also mentioned “”we are no longer willing to continue censoring our results on google.cn and so over the next few weeks we will be discussing with the Chinese government, the basis on which we could operate an unfiltered search within the law, if at all”.
Google the internet search giant gave shock threat to China as quit. China based cyber spies struck the Google and 20 other unidentified firms in an apparent bid to hack into the email accounts around the world.
He also felt government demand for filtering internet search engine results mean having to shut down its operations in china.
To this reaction from Google is supported and hailed from human rights activists. In surprising note Google said their investigation revealed that the accounts of human rights activists of China who use Gmail in Europe, china or US have been “routinely accessed” using malware sneaked onto their computers.
