Dr. Kai-fu Lee, Google China Shares Thoughts about Top Chinese and Top US Students

Dr. Kai-fu Lee is the Vice President, Engineering and President of Google China.

In a recent panel discussion at the Committee of 100 , Dr. Lee shared what he thought are the differences between top Chinese and top US students.

Chinese Students                           US Students

Pragmatic                                          Innovative

Dedicated                                          Passionate

Disciplined                                        Pro-active

Solid Technical Background          Independent Thinkers

Subtle Communicators                  Direct Communicators

Humble                                              Self-confident

I found this list very insightful and it gave me a lot to chew on.

I wonder if some Chinese and American students can tell me what they think.

Teachers who have had experience with both…what do you think?

Excellent comments and insights into the different Asian Cultures…

With thoughts like that, I wonder why you remain anonymous and a coward.

    Thanks for visiting.
