Barfi Bags Oscar Nominations

 

NEW DELHI September 22, 2012 : The Big bash release of Barfi seems to have been a lucky charm to be in Ranbeer Kapoor’s kitty this year. Trailing in the top lead and leaving other 19 films behin, Anurag Basu’s “Barfi” has made it large to the February 2013 Oscar Nominations this year.

 

This Romantic Comedy between a deaf boy and an autistic lady has re-written the era of love by breaking all the norms of the society. Barfi is all about love’s, about heart breaks and of course has scaled up with the minimalist of the dialogues.

 

Priyanka Chopra and Ileana D’Cruz have marked the pin point to the big screens by getting all the limelight and attention from the critics.

 

The differently abled couple characters have made the viewers to appreciate this powerful narrative along with a simple touch that makes the film astonishingly stunning and worth and worth a glimpse.

Supran Sen, secretary general of the Film Federation of India could not stop highlighting and said that “Barfi is the Indian entry to the Oscars. We selected it to represent the country out of 20 films,”
