Bar Drinks from IV Tubes

Always looking for a gimmick.…a restaurant in Taipei lets customers order their 'medicine' from a menu and enjoy their drinks from IV tubes in a hospital-themed restaurant.

And the reason people would want to do this? Is beyond me.

Nurses with rabbit ears acting as waitresses or is it waitresses dressed as nurses, might have some appeal to the oddballs who show up.

There are crutches on the wall and a wheelchair parked in the lobby…and an 'emergency room' light that leads to the toilet.hospital.bar.jpg

Is that because patrons might be inflicted with a case of Montezuma's revenge?

Other weirdo restaurants in Taipei – a jail. Restaurant tables are behind bars.

Full course meals from toilet bowls….hopefully unused one.

"Food is hard to compete on with other restaurants," says the owner of hospital restaurant. So…they have to come up with a gimmick.

Would you go to a restaurant where the drinks were dispensed from IV tubes?
