The first ODI between India and Srilanka was a nail biter. India put up 414 runs and Srilanka chased them to within three runs!

India’s Virender Sehwag hit for a century and much more. Srilanka’s Tillakaratne Dilshan answered with even more runs to pull the Lankans close enough to taste victory, yet come up short.
