Graduates from the best schools get the best jobs for the best pay in China, too.

Tsinghua University graduates get the best salaries in China.

Top schools – Shanghai Jiaotong University and Beijing Foreign Studies University also get top pay – Y4000/month ($750ish) within 6 months of graduating.

The average pay for the "State 211 project" – the nation's largest education project for top universities is about Y2,500 which is still Y500 yen more than those from ordinary universities.

Some 90% of graduates in Beijing get jobs.

About 86% of those grads say they prefer to stay in the city instead of going to the country side.

The most wanted jobs are in:

1. Beijing

2. Tianjin – not too far from the capital

China expects about 5.59 million new graduates this summer, up 12.9% over last year. All the seniors are hoping they are among those grads.

Come job hunting season, many students are going to wish they had studied harder 4-5 years ago to get into one of the top tier schools, no?

Studying hard, getting into a good school, finding a job, earning top pay is the formula in China, too?

What top tier school are you planning to attend?
