Chery Automobile Co., Ltd. and Italy's Fiat Auto have an agreement where Chery will supply 100,000 autos a year to Fiat.

Eight months ago the two automakers signed an MOU to work towards this agreement.

Fiat had been testing Chery engines and have come to the conclusion that the technology and quality is up to snuff.

Chery is China's fourth largers passenger car maker and owns a 7.2% marketchery.fiat.jpg share.

The two companies are exploring other areas where Chery might pitch in to make a difference

at Fiat.

In the first six months of this year, Chery's exports have grown 400% over the same time period last year.

Overseas sales are expected to reach 100,000 cars.

Chery + Fiat = Cheriat.

Didn't they used to drive those a long time ago….2, 4 horsepower engines?
