20 Single Rich Chinese Girls Seek Perfect Match in Silicon Valley

At least 20 single rich Shanghai ladies are coming to Silicon Valley to smooze with millionaires here in the valley in hopes of buying into a life-long partnership – marriage.

The ladies had to pay up 28,512 yuan (nice round number) up front to a match-making outfit for a shot at finding love in the United States.

Additional qualifications:

1. 500,000 yuan in their bank account

2. a good education

3. well-paying job

4. their own real estate

The job, the bank account and the real estate also serve as incentive to return to China…elsewise, they would have a very difficult time getting a visitors visa to the U.S. I still wonder how they could acquire a visa.

The boys on this side of the pond are Chinese men from mainland China who have found it difficult to find an 'appropriate' partner.

Something tells me that a women who is 'rich' enough to come looking for marriage, is still not the 'appropriate' partner.

But, it sounds like something a Shanghai girl would try.
